Many times over, in many different avenues of wellness, cleanses are suggested.
Clean, whole foods, abiding by the following instructions, most certainly will make you feel much better.
Don't worry, if you fall off, just start back up immediately.
*Should also take on at least 3-4 yoga classes a week,
Plus home meditation and restorative practices.
2 additional recommendations:
1.) 1000mg MSM capsules. The are great for dextoxifacation and joint support. Decalcifacation specifically.
2.) *A hydro-colonic
*If completed, You will receive a whole new outlook and you!
Good luck and enjoy!
I’m super excited to join the team @clevelandrockgym and be able to share this space and time with you! Hope you can make it, I will be climbing after, if not before a little bit! My little piggy: offers each of us the gifts of reason, thoughtfulness, fairness, attentiveness and security, cautions against greed, gluttony and egocentricity. #yoga #sarahcsiki #sarahcheiky #clevelandrockgym #thestudiocleveland #rockclimbing #healthylifestyle OMG! this photo is huuuuge! I can not figure out how to make it smaller! Yeesh! Looking for blog editor? lol maybe.
I have been quite reserved to post a photo wearing less than full clothing, but with friends doing it and sharing their more than inspirational experiences, I feel like I too can reveal myself.
At 16, I didn't look past the scale when it said 186, but my assumption was that it didn't get any better that following summer. (To put me into perspective, my boyfriend was 6'8, at least 325+. Referring to another photo).
Less than 2 years later, I figured out that losing weight in an unhealthy way, would not do. It landed me in the hospital, to which I lied to my parent, as to the reason why I was there. I knew I couldn't lie to myself.
It takes a lot of practice, experimentation, honesty but I knew that if I wanted to look like what I do now, it would take a lifestyle and lifetime commitment.
In 2002, I felt the first time that I understood what it meant to bring all aspects of health together as I felt the success.
2003, I had my daughter, I reached a lovely, and comfortable 206 lbs! The process is not always easy and we fall into old habits and ways; hopefully, overtime, our consciousness will not allow or accept personal untruths.
19 years later and in this case, enjoying food, self, the simple fact that I have a body that I can use, have full function of my life and limbs, I will use them. Until they retire.
Per our original ideals, just because I wanted to look this way on the outside, at that time, I didn't know that it was how I understood and felt about myself that would get my body here.
As I am honest with myself about what works and doesn't, my body has decided to do this. Apparently, because I enjoy the food, the exercise, my lifestyle, this is what I get on the outside.
I just pray , that the inside is truly doing just as well;-)
(insert X-ray vision here!)
With the ability to sit in silence, we learn to be able to listen to ours and the universal truth, create space in between, in order to truly find ourselves. In turn, when this is registered fully in oneself, it is time to get up and move forward with your meditation, walking with it, living with it, in it, being it and doing it fully, to the full extent of oneself. I now know why there are stories of the yogis burned up and disappeared, because of their true level of commitment and passion. I do wish these things for all beings, to sit, feel, know and practice. I do hope we all continue to strive to keep learning this. We are human and become busy in our lives, when we are householders, managers, business owners, team representatives, with responsibility to others. I do hope the world continues to learn consistency in their promises through actions, hopefully out of and in love, rather than illusion, delusion and greed. To this world, this humanness and the spiritual experience...
Hello all! The Studio Cleveland is moving on and up!
You may or may not have heard, TSC is changing hands in ownership this September 1, 2018, to Ms. Sara Syed! We were fortunate to be in space and time that allowed us to connect to a process of transition that has been one of tremendous ease and fluidity.
It is quite an honor to have built a space and created something that yes, people loved, and that many would want to run, direct, operate or practice within. Having the actual opportunity to be able to physically hand over such a large project in order for its continued survival, in what way suites the community best, has absolutely an amazing level of gratitude and state of awe, on so many levels.
Over the course of the next few months and years, I will continue to be part of The Studio family as a consultant or guide and in my regular fashion of being a Licensed Massage Therapist and Educator first. Having invested spiritual interest in seeing the space grow beyond what I was capable, will be my first past time. Vacation will be in there as well, apparently we should take some time off when things like this happen they say.
There is no real way for me to fully express the stories of the years here and now. We are still moving forward in order to make sure that The Studio, it's processes and it's growth is fully supported. We look forward to you possibly making your way through to some of the new classes that will be offered in the space.
So many thank you's to so many and all of the people who had come to support The Studio Cleveland, myself personally, their own personal practice or learn how to build their professional practices. A community of Independent Professionals who were able to grow individually, yet help elevate a platform, by being part of the collective. A grand achievement and reflection of all hard work, time, energy, dedication and love put forth these years.
What I do hope for is enough space and time coming up to reflect more fully on the times, all of the times at The Studio Cleveland, and with each individual person's essence that arises in good time. I have a lot of healing to do, my store has been open 24/7, 365, for over 8+ years, working double shifts for a good bit of that. It's time to find some ease in between all of the action.
Professionally, I have created the usual avenues of contact, Website with blog, Facebook, groups, YouTube channel, etc. that I will be functionally working with to update with old and new information and links. I look forward to sharing stories and reflections as they arise, if they want to be shared. 😉 Nothing is perfect for sure. Will be in constant editing discovery.
Please subscribe! I look forward to seeing you there and in the future along the way!
Look for me in all the locations and have twitter and LInkedin as well!

Thank you so much for the time and years, I am looking forward to seeing you around!
A long time being asked whether or not I have made videos, I hadn't. There is so much available online. I do believe we are all meant to journey and find our way, trying many avenues. To my clients, I did not want to be "the answer", just have some answers.
Over time, I have gained comfort in the idea of having the feeling of community through small avenues to help support us along the way. My videos are intended for my personal clients and at this time have no formality to them. Just us, doing some stuff, with some reminders and cues along the way.
I do hope to update regularly as I also have to log some old Thai teaching videos and other fitness content as well. I look forward to seeing what's there.
Thank you for checking it out and subscribing. Take care of your self to be well in the Now!
Viparita Karani Variations
There are a few different ways to perform this pose, and whichever you choose depends on your own abilities.
Legs Straight up the Wall Version
Lie on the back with your bum against the wall, or as close to the wall as possible, with the legs raised straight up the wall hip distance apart. Feel free to prop the bum up on a pillow, particularly if you are pregnant. The soles of the feet should be facing upward toward the ceiling and the arms should be placed beside you for balance. The amount of stiffness in the hips determines how close to the wall your legs are. Ideally, the will be touching the wall, but it might take a while for you to get there.
Legs in a Wide “V” VersionFor deeper stretch, do the same as explained above, but insead of keeping the feet hip distance apart, spread the legs into a wide V formation. This will enable you to feel a deeper stretch in the groin area while being gentle at the same time.
Soles Together VersionTurn the knees outward and put the soles of the feet together, with the legs pressed against the wall. This is quite an intense stretch, allowing you to experience the deepest groin stretch from the pose.
Advanced VersionThis version requires more mobility and balance. If it`s challenging for you, stay there.
Benefits of Viparita Karani
1. Increases Blood Flow and Decreases InflammationThis pose increases blood flow and circulation, particularly after a day of sitting or standing for an extended period of time. It reduces swellings as well, especially swelling in the feet, ankles, and calves.
2. Improves Hamstring Mobility and Reduces Lower Back PainThis pose stretches out the hamstrings, which often become shortened as a result of sitting at a desk all day, causing lower back pain. By performing this pose, you will relieve the pressure on the lower back, relieve pain, and improve hamstring mobility.
3. Reduces Stress and Stimulates RelaxationAs it alleviates pain and increases blood flow, this pose also relaxes you. This stimulation of the nervous system brings you into a more relaxed and calmer state. Hence, it also induces sleep and allows you to get a better night`s sleep.
Green smoothie stuff, to previously asked about recipes. I realize how complex our lives truly are and how this too may look hard to consume or put together, but it's not. It becomes easier over time. The complex realization of the simplicity in this and how life sustaining it is, wins.
Only through our truth and awareness in all lives practices, we will gain the sense of reward for our hard work put in.
Live and practice to be well!
